Madera and Sons was recently invited to participate in a city-wide art project and the results are fantastic. Local artists were invited to create a scene of Ventnor that they thought would capture the essence of our wonderful shore town. These images were then made into glossy postcards to distribute throughout the summer for friends and family to share, as well as the thousands of visitors who will be arriving soon.
The postcard that we sponsored was created by Rene Salvato, a self-taught artist and Ventnor resident. She created a scene entitled, Guarded Beach and Child, which captures a moment in time that many of us enjoy on a regular basis. We just love the results of this project.
The project was managed by Ventnor Is Art, a local arts management company that is also helping with the recent painting of the utility boxes in Ventnor, which is another great addition to our town.
